Privacy Policy

• Account details — your email address, display name and, if you sign in with Google, your profile picture.
• What you contribute — places, photos, reviews, questions, requests, answers, reports and favorites, with the date and your account.
• An activity log of contributions and moderation actions, so listings can be traced and mistakes corrected.
• Your location, only when you choose “Find Places Near Me”. It is used to run that search and is not saved.

Your display name and role badge appear next to things you post publicly. Your email address is never shown publicly; administrators can see it to manage accounts.

We use a sign-in cookie to keep you logged in, and your browser may store simple preferences. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

• Netlify — hosting, sign-in, database and photo storage.
• Google — optional sign-in, and maps when Google Maps is enabled.
• OpenFreeMap and Photon — maps and address search when Google Maps isn’t used.

These providers process data only to deliver their part of the service.

• Edit your display name and bio in your account.
• Delete your own questions and requests from the listing page.
• Ask an administrator to correct or delete your account and contributions. Places you added may stay listed without your name, so the community keeps the information.
